i'm overwhelmed and hung over. overjoyed about obama. pissed as hell about prop 8. pissed that it passed and pissed that this means i have to keep having this conversation. pissed that prop 8 totally overshadowed a number of other really important props (some of which went my way and some of which didn't. like fucking prison expansion. fuck.)

i read this: i wish the elation had lasted longer. as: i wish the election had lasted longer. and i was like: WTF?? but yes, i completely agree: i wish the elation had lasted longer. word. it was kind of amazing to be literally dancing in the streets in celebration of obama's election.

also, i am way more relieved that prop 4 failed than i am upset that prop 8 passed. but mixed about a lot of other proposition outcomes. sigh.
