I don't believe in unconditional love, and sometimes it depresses me to the point where I wonder why people even bother.

I look back and wonder why I thought I wasn't as cool as you.

I experienced something the other night that caught me completely off guard, someone being kind and open...without pretense. It was not something I expected or that I went looking for but there it was and now I don't know what to do with it. (And I'm fighting the urge to be cynical about it.)

P.S. You're probably the nicest person I know. Remember it is not always a bad thing to be an asshole. Hugs and love.
