This most recent episode of Mad Men was the best to date if only for the following line:
Joan: That's life. One minute, you're on top of the world. The next minute, some secretary is running you over with a lawnmower.
That just about sums up my life right about now. Except I'm the secretary and I'm running over myself. I have figuratively severed my own foot and I'll never be able to golf again (second best line).
Also, I really like Betty Draper's character because she makes me appreciate my own mother. What I once considered to be her faults do not even register on the Betty Draper Scale of Horrible Parenting. Seriously, I can't wait for the Sally Draper spin-off all about the crazy shit she was driven to do because of her mother. Get on it, Matthew Weiner.
