My emotions... I don't know what they are doing!
Poor Kurt... to go from an environment where the only contact he had was sexual and abusive, to an environment where no one touches him at all except to hold him down when he's having a tantrum. I can't even imagine what's going through his head... he just wants human contact, and the two times he's tried (albeit inappropriate, because that's all he knows), he's shunned.

Right now, his thoughts are pretty simple. They mainly consist of, 'touch me,' 'don't touch me,' 'give me,' and 'no,' with an occasional 'oooh, pretty music,' which defaults back into the 'give me' category.

Kurt was gone in the morning. It was a Saturday, so both boys would be home, and Burt was only going to be at the shop until noon so they could take Kurt to get some real clothes. He'd been slumping around the house in oversized sweats and boots for far too long

It was just Burt, Carole, and Kurt for the day. Angie was off on the weekends and Finn was at Rachel’s, hiding. Carole had been counting on Finn to give her feedback on things so Kurt wouldn’t get clothed in head to toe in flannel like Burt would have him

They’d let him walk away for ten minutes-ten minutes!-and already Kurt was lost. Carole didn’t know if he was hiding or genuinely lost. They were getting ready to call the police when Carole heard a vaguely familiar voice coming from the floor near a rack of skirts

"No," Kurt wailed later that afternoon. He had one leg of a pair of skinny jeans clutched to his chest while Burt tugged on the other, slowly pulling Kurt towards the edge of the bed

This is so sad, but I love how well everyone is taking Kurt's inappropriate behaviour. Even Finn isn't responding badly, considering. I feel awful for all of them, though. What a terrible thing to have to deal with.
I hope Brittany comes back later (although probably with supervision, because I can see them sleeping with each other without sorting out why it's a bad thing, too). I think Kurt kissed her because he likes her and she treats him like he's normal. Personally. That could just be my intense love for all thing Brittany coming out though haha.

He'd seen the pictures the police and hospital had taken immediately after Kurt had been found. The boy in them looked haunted. Filthy. Starved. They'd washed him at the hospital, of course, but after nearly three weeks at home without being able to convince Kurt to take even a bath, Burt had to take matters into his own hands
