When Will finds out that Kurt plans to audition for the male lead he takes him aside and gently explains that he doesn't think this role is right for Kurt. Maybe next time they can find something for him. Overall, Will comes away from the conversation felling good and like he handled it well.
But Kurt doesn't come away from the conversation felling so good. Mr. Shue doesn't think he's right for the male lead. He didn't think he was right for the female song when they did defying gravity. Hell, the only role Mr. Shue seems to think he was right for was that of a transsexual (From Rocky Horror).
Happy ending are preferred, as always. Also if you could throw some unexpected Rachel support Kurt's way that would be awesome as well.

OMG, Hummelberry friendship, yes please! It'd be fabulous to see Rachel throwing a fit in protest for someone other than herself.
