The morning after was quiet, calm and peaceful as Blaine snuggled closer to his boyfriend inhaling his scent.

The morning after was supposed to remain that way as they both woke up to each other in blissful contentment.

But Blaine woke up first and was thrown backward into the harsh reality of the world as he noticed the darkening bruises on Kurt's arms he somehow missed the night before.

Bruises he gave Kurt that night in the back of the car after leaving the bar.

I'm not the OP, but trust me, when you accidentally hurt somebody, it breaks you up inside. I got black-out drunk once and broke my friend's finger and did some nerve damage to it. I felt like shit for ages, een though she told me she wasn't angry, and she knew I didn't do it on purpose. In another example, I bruise easily from my anemia, and my Ex has left huge bruises on me by accident. I don't really care, but he felt so guilty.

"Calm down, Blaine. You were drunk, and it was an accident. Yeah, you were kind of an ass that night, but I know you weren't trying to hurt me. You honestly didn't even grab me that hard; we both know how easily I bruise. So, stop beating yourself up." Blaine let out a curt laugh before took a couple of steps away from the taller boy. Why didn't he understand
