S3.11 spoilers Hudmels

Burt and Carole's flight home gets delayed so they're unable to make it home in time for Finn's 18th birthday. They promise to make it up to him and tell him to take some money out of Burt's desk in his office and go out to dinner with Kurt and Rachel to celebrate. Except Kurt's over at Rachel's rehearsing again for their NYADA auditions, both forgot his birthday, and Finn's alone.

Bonus if one of the Gleeks show up even though it was supposed to be a family dinner.

Oh, can we have Puck be the one to show up for his birthday? I love when he shows that he cares alot more then people think he does.

Not the OP but that makes a lot of sense imo. He grew up with Finn and they were best friends for a long time. He'd know Finn's birthday for sure!

Whereas someone like Sam, Rory, Mercedes or Artie knowing makes much less sense. And with Rachel and Kurt out of the way....

“Finn out with Rachel?” Puck asked, his voice was a little strained, though Sam couldn’t imagine why. He’d heard that Puck had dated Rachel before Finn did, but Finn and Rachel and been together so long now that he didn’t think that could still be bothering him

Puck hadn’t expected Sam to show up that night, so instead he’d decided to try and work a little on the new song he was writing. But it was definitely a totally top-fucking-secret that Puck wrote songs at all, so when Sam busted in he hid his notebook tout-fucking-suite

He was kind of having an awesome time too; chilling on the couch, eating waffles and shooting the shit with his boys. Had it been any night other than his birthday it would have been perfect, but today… well, it just wasn’t what he had expected

Kurt had arrived at Rachel’s around 3:00 and they’d been rehearsing steadily since then. Even Rachel was ready to quit when they realized it was almost midnight. Kurt was starving, they hadn’t even stopped for dinner, just chugging water when their voices seemed ready to give out

This was perfect. Poor Finn. It sucks when the most important people in your life forget about you. I love the Suckinn friendship. There needs to be more of that.
