Kurt and Burt Angst

Kurt and Burt are having an argument and Burt tells Kurt that he is 'Disappointed' in him and leaves the room. Kurt begins having a major panic attack because the last time Burt was disappointed in him he almost DIED! Fearing that Burt will have another heart attack Kurt vows to become Perfect as to never disappoint his father ever again... by any means necessary.

Bonus: Finn being the first person to realized what Kurt is doing to himself

Kurt was reading the new issue of Vogue, leaning with his back against the headboard of his bed, his feet resting on a soft pillow when he heard his dad call for him

‘’Kurt?’’ Finn’s nervous voice came from the other side of the door.

Kurt sighed as he wiped at his eyes. Wrong timing, Finn. ‘’What?’’

‘’Uhm, are you alright? I heard a lot of yelling… Were you and Burt fighting?’’

‘’It’s none of your business,’’ Kurt replied sharply. ‘’I’d appreciate it if you c-could leave me alone now.’’

There was a short pause before Finn said, ‘’Are you sure?’’
‘’Yes, Finn.’’

‘’You can talk to me, you know,’’ Finn offered awkwardly. ‘’I mean, we’re brothers, dude. Don’t they tell each other everything?’’

‘’J-just go away,’’ Kurt said, hoping he’d get the message.

Kurt waited until Finn’s footsteps disappeared and he heard the noise of his bedroom door slamming shut. He stood up and tiptoed to the large mirror, watching his reflection bitterly.

His face was pale. Paler than usual. His nose was slightly red, just like his eyes. Tears were still streaming down his flushed cheeks, to his chin and then falling to the floor.

‘You cause your dad too much stress,’ a voice in his head said
