S3 Spoilers Hudmels angst

Sure, Finn's truck is old and sometimes he has to call Burt or Kurt or his mom because it broke down, and it can't make long drives, and he gets teased because it's purple, but it's his truck and he worked hard to earn the half the money and his mom worked hard to pay for the other half.
So when he wakes up on his 18th birthday to find a new truck in the driveway instead of his old purple one, he appreciates Burt and Kurt's thought behind the present but the truck, it just doesn't feel like his truck.

This is exactly how I felt when my parents replaced my falling-apart-from-being-read-so-much book series that were my go-to comfort books. I spent so much time and effort into collecting the whole series and, even though I could appreciate the gift, it wasn't the same. I really felt for Finn.
