Kurt and Finn are used to living with each other. They know each other's habits that makes living together easier(Kurt prefers to cook, Finn doesn't mind always doing the dishes if he doesn't have to cook). They've gotten used to making the little sacrifices and comprimises that need to be made when living with another person. Rachel's not. She goes to bed early and complains if they're watching TV but then she gets up early and is noisy so they can't sleep, she adds expensive vegan food to the grocery list but doesn't think to pay for the extra cost, doesn't leave notes if she uses the last of something, etc. Her dads never complained so she doesn't understand why Finn and Kurt do.

This is perfect. Me and a friend had similar problems when we roomed with someone who was an only child. You can only be so understanding before it's too much.
