Homeless!Sebastian, homophobia, possible violence anonymous June 12 2012, 18:54:20 UTC
Kurt keeps noticing that Sebastian is always at the Lima Bean. "Does he live here or something?" Turns out, he kind of does. His wealthy father kicked him out after finding out he was gay, and dumped him at Dalton. The problem? He didn't pay for boarding, and Sebastian's too embarrassed to tell anyone about his situation.

Who finds out, pairing (or lack thereof), or happy/depressing ending up to writer.

After a rather strained meal filled with silence and deliberate not looking at each other, Kurt and Finn settle into their usual routine of washing up - Kurt washes, and Finn dries. They do it every time they have a meal together when their parents are out of Lima; it feels very brotherly intimate, in a non-creepy, domestic kind of way. It’s relaxing and comforting, like a small functional family of their own. At least that’s what Kurt thinks about it, he doesn’t know if Finn just helps with the drying because he’s grateful for Kurt cooking said meal ( ... )

Sebastian is not looking for jewellery or anything; Kurt finds him in the living-room studying the photos on the walls. A while ago Carole and Dad spent a couple of weeks sorting all Hummel and Hudson photos there were and arranging them together. Kurt helped by saying things like “God, Dad, not that one, I look awful in it!” and “Oh gosh, that’s me and you having a tea party when I’m five, it’s mortifying… wait, don’t put it away, I want it to be on the wall”, and Finn just appreciated everything with unabashed puppy-like enthusiasm ( ... )

“Hey, Hummel,” Sebastian says, distracting Kurt from the book. “Why do you keep a whole trunk of wedding magazines under your bed? And the collection of tiaras - do you seriously wear them at school ( ... )

Some of his clothes are dry-clean only, and some of them he can wash by hands in tepid water. Then he’ll have to find some space to hang them and let them dry (can he fins enough of suitable space without the danger of Sebastian getting goddamn curious again and laying his hands on Kurt’s things?), and then he’ll have to iron them all. It’s going to be a real pain in the ass ( ... )

“Don’t try my patience, Sebastian,” Kurt says, practically shoving smirking Sebastian into the bathroom. He can’t believe he actually wanted the bastard to smile ten minutes ago, because right now he’d like nothing better than wiping that smirk off Sebastian’s face. Preferably with a good, solid right hook. “Brush your teeth before they fall off because of all the dirty mean things you’re saying all the time. I bet you’re even muttering insults and swearwords in your sleep ( ... )

Hey, guys! If anyone's readin this, give me a sign? Because if there's no one, I'll stop updating regularly, big anonymous updates are a pain the ass, and it's not worth the effort if no one needs it )

Kurt wakes up to his phone going off obnoxiously loudly. He reaches to grab it from the nightstand, pokes the screen with awkward, sleepy fingers to answer the call and presses it to his ear, snuggling further under the duvet and closes his eyes again.

“It had better be good, I warn you, whoever you are,” he says. “I don’t know what time it is but it’s earlyHe hears a familiar chuckle. Only Mercedes is able to be this chipper early on Sunday morning ( ... )

He hesitates before telling Mercedes the truth: he knows that by the time he’ll finish his morning skin care routine and start preparing breakfast, the whole New Directions team will know. Mercedes is the kindest person in the world but not exactly forgiving; if you hurt someone she cares about her mean streak flares up like a fire to which someone added a litre of gasoline; and whatever redemption Sebastian came through in the past, when the Karofsky Situation arose, he still hurt Blaine and humiliated the New Directions ( ... )

Sebastian looks rumpled; while he doesn’t seem to have neglected brushing his teeth and washing his face, he surely didn’t give a damn about what his hair looks like, and it’s all over the place in stray strands that catch the morning sunlight, looking almost golden instead of brown, and in this clear light Sebastian’s eyes are deep sparkling green. He’s got a pillow crease on his cheek - again - and he’s wearing the clothes from yesterday. Kurt remembers that he’s washed the Dalton uniform but it has to be ironed yet, and also that he didn’t give Sebastian fresh underwear ( ... )

“Next time I decide to say something remotely nice to you, remind me not to do it,” Kurt huffs. “I bet if you get a nice birthday card or something else that can be considered sweet or kind, you run to the toilet and flush it down, laughing diabolically all the time.”

“You know me so well, Kurrrrt,” Sebastian purrs, clearly amused. “And do you ever forget that I’m around? Do you expect me to do something horrible?”

“911 is on my speed-dial in case I need it because of you ever since you attacked Blaine with the rock salt slushie,” Kurt snaps. “And I can’t really forget about you being here when you stink of trouble so much I could smell in on the other side of town.”

“I said I was sorry about Blaine’s eye,” Sebastian reminds, suddenly serious again.

“And you said to Santana that the slushie was meant for me,” Kurt reminds. “I’ve heard it on the tape. You never said you were sorry for wanting to leave me blind. Well, I guess, because you weren’t sorry ( ... )

It doesn’t sound like one more insult - which is good, because Kurt’s tired of them today, he freaking woke up this morning already fed up with them - it’s more like tentative teasing, and Kurt shrugs.

“What are your plans for today? Except for the homework, that is.”

“Nothing spectacular,” Kurt says cautiously. “Being at home, maybe watching something, making sure you don’t burn the house down or something, making pasta for dinner.”

“What were you going to watch?”

Kurt has no clue why Sebastian’s asking all this. But as long as it resembles a civil conversation, he’s willing to give it a shot.

He’s the good guy here, after all.

“The Sound of Music,” Kurt says. It’s true, after all. “I approve of classic things ( ... )

I'm so glad you still love it :) I'm perfectly alright with "amazing and beautiful and give me more", should you feel the need to say all that ))) It's just I can't know that you're here if you're silent, and updating for no one at all is really frustrating.
