Kurt never stopped blaming himself for his mother's death. He withdrew into himself, became very quiet and timid. When he realised that his voice wasn't breaking, he barely talked, not even to his dad because he was afraid that he sounded 'faggy'.
For some reason (up to writer) Burt has Kurt transferred to Dalton. Kurt meets Blaine and is shocked that someone can e openly gay and not ashamed of it.
When Blaine meets Kurt he is instantly attracted to the quiet boy, and decides to try and help him come out of his shell. Blaine finds out why kurt is so shy and helps him to realise that he has nothing to be ashamed of.

poor Kurt. ;___;
Karofsky questioning him was interesting, but he shouldn't try to get validation by, you know, sexually assaulting someone! ugh.
Kurt, bb, you need to leave now. :'(
but I'm a it confused - did his mom actually kill herself because Kurt's a "fag" or did his uncle just make that up?
