Kurt/Blaine - accidental incest angst (and possibly crack?) anonymous April 27 2011, 06:40:46 UTC
Somehow, Kurt and Blaine find out that they're half-brothers. Maybe they stumble on old medical bills or letters or something that proves Burt is Blaine's biological father. Turns out Blaine's mother had a brief affair with Burt Hummel during a bad spot in her marriage.

All the adults are aware of Blaine's paternity but have never told the kids and are now ridden with guilt. Now that Blaine and Kurt have begun dating, none of the parents have any idea how to broach the subject without dashing their sons' newfound happiness. Or something. /waves artistic license

Yes, I read too much V.C. Andrews as a kid. Why do you ask?

So, let me guess. Burt dies, the talented Kurt goes to stay with his new, very rich family-who treat him horribly-gets pregnant by his brother/former boyfriend, then runs away (possibly with a guy from his past) to raise it away from his controlling family.

Man, I read a ton of her books when I was a teen. That scenario seemed to happen a lot. It could be interesting applied to Klaine, though.

I just had this mental image of Karofsky stealing Kurt's incest baby and hurt something laughing. It's 8am and I'm still awake. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Not sure what possessed me to prompt this, but I thought it could be interesting. :D

No, no, that would totally happen! Then Karofsky blackmails Kurt into being with him.

...jeez, I'm having ideas. I don't normally write Mpreg, but I'm tempted to give it a try due to all the over-the-top drama this just inspired. I might claim this.

I just realized I might have hijacked that prompt. I really hope I didn't and I apologize if I did. My mind just jumped to the VC Andrews part and started running. Would you still like me to give it a try?

Okay, great! It might be a little bit before I start, as I've got a couple of on-going fics, one of which I'm THIS CLOSE to finishing, but I will definitely be giving it a try-though I will make sure it has plenty of what you originally requested. In fact, I think that's what's going to start the whole thing off.

That's one of my favorite books. It's creepy as hell, but so good (and before all the books got so formulaic).

The girl at the bar, small and lovely to look at, introduced herself with a flirty smile almost hidden by the beer stein held up to her mouth by one tiny fist. Burt's wedding ring remained tucked away in his front pocket where he always put it before working on engines at the shop. Normally, he'd slip it back on before even getting on the road to go home but, hell, what was the point? He had a stack of papers at home waiting to signed. Once he'd scrawled his name on the dotted lines, he'd be a divorced man. Seven years of marriage down the drain ( ... )

I would love to see more of this!

I gotta admit, when you said tiny and lovely and named Laura I immediately thought of Laura Hardy, which made everything that much weirder. (Kurt related to Frank and Joe ... I would totally write it.)
