With the Nationals trip approaching quickly and the motel room still home base, Sam is at a loss as to what to do. The Gleeks have banded together to pay for his ticket, hotel, costume, etc., but since they'll all be, y'know, with him up in New York, there's going to be no one around to watch the Mini Evanses. Eventually, Sam is forced to do the unthinkable: hand them over to Karofsky.

(Well, all right, it's technically Mr. Karofsky he's handing them over to, and he was very nice to have offered when he didn't have to because everyone at the church was helping them out so nicely, but the Karofsky Sam's familiar with will still be in the house ( ... )
