Posting an extra modesty carpet here just in case.

Also, warning for non-con imagery.

Setup: Will hears about Artie's suggestion from TFT. He calls Kurt into his office a week or so later to talk about it/figure out if Blaine is pressuring him. Naturally, Will manages to offend Kurt by wanting to have that conversation in the first place, and Kurt quotes the Emma/Beiste/Artie conversation he overheard, including sarcastically calling himself "delicate."The thing was, even if Kurt wasn’t exactly ‘delicate,’ if Will had to bet on any of his male students getting into, well, trouble, it was easy - painfully, unnervingly easy - to picture it happening to him. After all, Will had years of seeing things out of the corner of his eye, catching glimpses of bigger guys, the size of full-grown men, surrounding Kurt in a huddle or colliding with him in the hallway, using their strength against him, shoving him against things - there was nothing Will could do anything about as a teacher, sadly. McKinley’s rules held him back from punishing them without concrete proof, and all he had were split-second impressions burned into his ( ... )

It's (subtly) Kumming? (and/or possibly Rumming?) anonymous February 1 2012, 15:21:46 UTC
Anyone going to say anything about the Kummers deciding that Sam face transitioning to Kurt's in the final number means Kum is on? :| I can't tell if that's better or worse than Pirates getting up in arms about Blaine wearing an eye-patch...

... not that a lot of Klainers are much better, but still.

rm over-analysing as usual anonymous February 1 2012, 16:33:56 UTC
The slushie meant for Kurt that Blaine steps in front of contains rock salt, which heats when it comes into contact with water and ice. This implies strongly that Sebastian’s initial goal was for Kurt to experience chemical burns, and it certainly evokes a type of violence generally directed at women by men and that the media tells us transpires because those women do not obey the wishes of those men ( ... )

did you see her post about how Blaine is Burt's favorite of him, Kurt and Finn? jfc

"I feel like Burt loves Kurt, but he’s high-strung and alien sometimes. And Burt loves Finn, but he’s sort of aimless and a little dumb more often than he’d like. And then there’s Blaine, who’s a dude Burt can relate to and smart and makes his kid happy, and so like, Blaine’s kinda his favorite. Shhhhhhh."

I did, and much like her other thoughts regarding Blaine, I have no idea what she is basing this on. Was it the very dapper and direct way that Blaine advised Burt to talk to Kurt about the birds and the bees? 'Cause I got nothing.

Pyro still stans Sebastian, news at 11. anonymous February 1 2012, 16:40:38 UTC
I strangely have no feelings about Sebastian or his ships after last nights episode. I mean I love Sebastian to death and still ship all the things but I don’t really have any headcanon I guess? Most of my feelings have to do with the quality of writing which was just so on the ball last night and the only weakness was the Warblers support of Sebastian which I mentioned last night.http://hummytheson.tumblr.com/post/16862880443/i-strangely-have-no-feelings-about-sebastian-or... )

I have no feelings about Sebastian and his ships after last night'e episode = even I cannot justify shipping Kurt/Blaine/Sebastian after that.

I also really, seriously, cannot believe she sees no faults in the writing of that episode. The dialogue was clunky, the characterisation was off (RM, I salute you, in managing to completely ruin the characterisation of the Warblers when they didn't actually have characters before) and the whole episode was rushed when cutting a couple of numbers would have permitted more actual plot. There was no need for either Ben or I Just Can't Stop Loving You. There really wasn't any need for Scream, either, but I am so in lust with Mike Chang in eyeliner that I can't complain about that too much.

Yeah, final thing: Black and White was fucking awful.

ayrt

In the spirit of complet openness, I am an admitted Kurt/Blaine fan (I don't do portmanteaux) and I loathed Ben.

I haven't been a fan of Finn/Rachel since, oh, the pilot, but this season, I keep telling myself that it is a satiric deconstruction of the ideal high school ingenue/quarterback romance. And then I ff through yet another duet/solo of Rachel crying and Finn looking constipated.

Idek why I watch this show any more.

Oh yeah, Mike Chang in eyeliner.
