Seconding everyone else who said that they really enjoyed this even though they're not huge fans of Will. This is the will I miss from Season 1, who was inappropriate and really had no idea how to respect boundaries but was endearing and kind of the guy you rooted for anyway, which was a lovely throwback and really delightful to read. I'm also kind of in love with your take on Emma, who's able to stand up for herself but still keep a lot of her innocence and charm.

Thanks so much, especially regarding Will. I mean, I think the only reason he came across that way in S1 was because the show started off from his point of view, and then gradually showed us the POVs of others (and hence Will's extreme faitboating). I think writing this story from his POV helped to tap back into that. And I'm glad it worked :)
As for Emma, I think, since she started seeing a therapist and getting medication for her OCD, has really just been looking for a good reason to let all that power out. I really enjoyed letting her do it!

I probably shouldn't enjoy fic with failure! Will so much, but this was fantastic. I love that you got Will's lack of forethought and utter lack of self-awareness down, and the students were all great, too. I especially liked your take on Brittany - she's... Brittany, but she does take offense when people assume she can't handle things, as Will is particularly likely to do.
