I'm just going to put my hand up and ask for some recommendations, because even though I've never actually shipped this pairing -- I can totally see it. Santana's ongoing issues with her sexuality are going to come to a head, soon, and I see trying to get closer to one of the other glee girls to try and discover whether she's a lesbian or she's just really in love with Brittany. Quinn's not an option because of their awkward friendship, she's already sung a duet with Mercedes and there was nothing there, Tina would pick up on her true motives rather quickly and, well -- that leaves Rachel.

All of that says absolutely nothing about why I like their relationship, but whatever. I'd love to see fic that gives me other reasons as to why it's entirely plausible, however.

To be honest Santana is a better ship partner then Quinn. Santana shows more interest in RAchel Then Quinn did. She cracks more jokes and evcerything that comes out of the latinos mouth is about Rachel.

I actually meant more that Santana wouldn't pick Quinn as a test case for her sexuality (most awkward phrasing ever, but the word I want escapes me), because they've got that whole "we were Cheerios together and kind of friends" thing going on.

But that point you make about everything Santana says being about Rachel makes me more convinced that it would work, definitely.

I agree about Santana and Quinn they got that whole friendship going on for them.

IT does dont it. I mean I think people paired Rachel and Quinn because Santana and BRittney had each other and I know theres Tina and Mercedes but Quinn and Rachel had history for both loving Finn, but I like Santana and Rachel becasue Santana talks about her more than any other person.

I agree, Santana's Fierce-ness and Rachels talent. there like the perfect thing. Santana can help push Rachel to the max.

I love Faberry but Pezberry is top of my list. I think that the two make a lot of sence together because as previously said, Santana pays extra attention to Rachel. She’s a bitch to most but she hates on Rachel the most. Quinn has stepped back a bit since the baby thing but Santana keeps it coming pretty regularly. If Rachel dressed like a sex kitten more often, I think Santana would definitely look at her twice. Plus they are both similar in some ways. They both are going through heartbreak from their first real loves, They are both crazy and bitchy in their own ways. I’m pretty sure they both have some narcissistic tendencies and they can both be manipulative when they feel threatened. Rachel’s crazy mainly comes out when it has to do with performing and Santana is kind of all around crazy. But I think they could balance each

Adding in my two cents, albiet a bit late.

I love pezberry because I think that the contrast between Santana, who can be rather impulsive, and Rachel, whose a born planner, works really well. Rachel also has a strong enough personality to stand up to Santana when she's being bitchy and Santana can understand Rachels more devious side. Also, in most pezberry fics, Santana allows/encourages Rachel to loosen up and not over think things so much leading to a more relaxed verson of Rachel, which I prefer.

They're my OTP mainly because I'm a sucker for the whole forbidden love with a happy ending thing. Also, they shouldn't make sense, but they do. I love the 'hate turns to love' thing.
