This reminds me so much of that bit from Cinderella: "A dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep. In dreams you can lose your heartache; whatever you wish for, you keep."

Really beautifully written. That really is how Mercedes would have imagined being with Kurt. So sweet, and a bit heartbreaking for her.
