Never Have I Ever turns up a lot in Glee fic, but yours was actually believable and funny and cute. Yay, more romance on crack, and more romance period. When Kurt hesitates then dances with Blaine at the party, finally having someone to dance with and comfortably coupley, I picture the LFN video.
Loved Blaine and Kurt explaining to their respective audiences how crazy they are about each other. Awww.

Thank you so much. I always aim to be believable...so thank you. And quoting back the first story. Yay! I really like that line too.

And the LFN vid was my inspiration. Good call :) 3 days and then 1 more week! Hooray!

Hey there. So when we used to play 'I never' ('tis what we called it, though never, have I ever works to), really, what you wanted to do was get the scoop out of others and get them to drink. Didn't so much matter if you had or hadn't done it, you just said thinks you wanted to know about others. So...that's why I had it the way I did.

Hope it wasn't too confusing. My poor beta didn't even know the game, so that's how an explanation even ended up in the story...wasn't meant to detract. Anyways, hope you liked the story!

Haha fair enough, I think I've always played it that way cause the "winner" was the one who lasted longest. the point is basically the same though.... goss lol.

Also played lollie versions if pregnant people are present when you each get the same number of lollies, each time you have done the never you eat one, when you're out of lollies your out of the game, last one left is the winner.

Oh and the version i know was never have i ever because thats how you'd start each statement. ie: "Never have I ever had sex with a girl"

hehe finished it now :D luv the gay comment at the end. though it raises an interesting point. the comment always go along the line of whoever is receiving is gay.... but would you need to be more gay to stay hard and get off on fucking a guy or another guy giving you head. Sorry im totally not digging at ur comment cause i honestly really loved them and they totally make sense if the guy giving the bj really enjoys it and stuff. It just makes me think of all the comments focused on you can't be gay if you don't take it.......

i'm easily side tracked lol. neway luv the ficlet :D

My first reaction to these types of ideas in general (one is more gay if giving versus receiving) is that that is a bunch of nonsense usually rooted in homophobia. I do think there are more derogatory comments (again entirely rooted in homophobia) about being a bottom versus being a top, but I believe that has to do specifically with the act of anal sex. I think the homophobic comments around oral sex have to do with being the one giving (hence the 2 Blaine referred to in the story, 'cocksucker' and 'on your knees').

So Blaine's comment comes from Blaine's own personal revelation, feeling powerful and embodied and strong while giving oral sex. Kind of a personal empowerment and pride moment. Happy to be gay moment. That sort of thing. Mostly, though, it's just 2 boys in love and kind of laughing at themselves :)

oh god im really sorry if i gave the impression that i agreed with any of those comments. I just enjoy discussions on peoples state of mind/not thinking things through when the make silly comments. I think what sparked the particular thought was a conversation with one of my friends ( ... )

No, no, I didn't think you agreed. No worries...BUT I do feel compelled to comment...male on male rape never has anything to do with being gay at all. Rape is about using your power against someone against their will, to force them to have sex. It is not about attraction or love or vulnerability or all of the beautiful things that sexuality is about. There is no gay or straight in rape - so nothing in the violent acts you describe has any gay component to it at all. That is violence. Just sayin'

And so glad you liked blowjob empowerment (as you called it). 'Cause that was actually about being gay :)

And please don't worry about rambling...I like to ramble to. Thanks again.
