Vegetarian Parmesan

Jamie Oliver has opened a new restaurant in Guildford, where I live. It appears to have no vegetarian main courses, because they either have obvious meat or parmesan cheese. I think all parmesan cheese is non-vegetarian because parmesan is the same as parmigiano reggiano (because of this) and the protected regional status rules of parmigiano ( Read more... )

I'm not an expert, but the Specification of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP does seem kind of conclusive when you combine it with the Judgement... and I feel shamed that all I found was The Guardian, and their 9 non-veggie things...
