wow - i managed to remember my password so that I could post a comment! I agree with the Laura Veirs assessment. And Sam Amidon. And I await listening to the others at the pre-arranged listening party that I have now been updated about, from various directions. My other favourites from Howard this year are Dawes, Jonathan Wilson and Kurt Vile, though I have to admit that I chose each of those myself...
