I was supposed to get my economic stimulus by 5/2 and it hasn't been deposited.  What should I do?  Is there a place to call?  I'm supposed to be in the 1st group so now I'm worried that for some reason I just "don't get one" or something.

When did you file your return? It turns out that there is a minimum of six weeks between when you file and when you can receive your economic stimulus. I should have been in the first group as well, but I looked up the fine print and found out that because I waited till mid April to file, it pushed back my eligibility to receive the economic stimulus until June. :(

I filed in the middle of March so I'm just on the 6 weeks now. So that's good. I'm just glad I'm not the "only one" that didn't get theirs on time.

Did you get a refund and have it direct deposited? We didn't get a refund this year, so we're waiting on a paper check.

I didn't get a refund, I had to pay. And they withdrew that money from my bank acct so they should have the info. And when I filed via turbo tax they asked if I wanted my stimulus direct deposited and I said yes. But it's possible that I could get a paper check. I guess I just have to be patient.

That's weird, I just know that we're waiting.

I'm going to stimulate the economy by starting a company to employ all of the laid off workers....

Just kidding, I'm totally buying new shoes.

I haven't gotten mine either. I have no idea how to figure out why.

I'm glad i'm not the only one, it seems common that a lot of people didn't get theirs right away.
