I was just doing a DNA prep and I spilled it all over my bench paper.  The paper is lined with plastic  and I just replaced it this morning... desperate times call for desperate measures so I squeezed the paper out into the filter.  *sigh*
I told the first year student in my lab "don't ever do what I just did"
