We're in Prague now and it's an amazing city. Joe had an off day and we spent it just walking around the city. The weather here is great - it's between 15 and 18 and sunny. Being here with Joe has been a pleasure. I'm no longer going to take for granted the time I have with him. When it comes down to it, there is nothing that I wouldn't do for

Mitch started doing that once he got into school. I'd send him postcards, or bring post cards back from whichever cities we'd play in and then we'd help him find where it is on the map. Then he'd look at me and say, "Wow Daddy, you were far away, huh?" *chuckles*

I miss that he doesn't do it anymore, unless I play in another country.

Yeah, I'm still lucky with Hunter like that. She has all the post cards on her wall. Partly because they are "pretty" and partly because they are from Daddy.

I'll be heartbroken when she decides they are no longer cool. *laughs*

Oh Mitch still thinks they're cool, he just doesn't pull out the map anymore, mostly because he knows where every NHL city and international city I've played in is.

And even if she decides that they're no longer cool, you'll find something else that's special and shared between just the two of you.
