I'm looking at this screen and trying to think of something to say, but there really isn't that much going on. There are no games to bitch about, everyone is doing well ... things are eerily fine. I guess I'm waiting for a shoe to drop ( Read more... )

Unlike me, who can bitch about games nightly. And hey, I do! But if you ever need that child of yours to get a good baseball education, lemme know and come out to a game sometime. Doesn't even have to be in Chicago.

You guys don't make it over to Boston for interleague this year do you? I think the closest you guys get would be to Shea - maybe? Hunter is a big red sox fan. She loves going to Fenway. But yeah, I might take you up on that. She needs to see more NL games; the DH is an abomination.

Aw, I'll be glad when you guys are able again. Not playin' would kill me.

Naw, they came here. We go to Yankee Stadium middle of June and Shea first weekend in August. And yes, good, teach about how awful the DH is. Batting's fun, I could never pitch AL.

It's been more than rough. I'll be glad to play again - just not sure where. Or to be honest, when.

For like a week, whenever we'd watch games, when the dh would bat she'd ask, where does he play? But she gets it now. I swear I've heard her boo - very very softly - when the dh comes up.
