Busy busy Fiona...
I cant beleive how quickly my day at work went today, I just never stopped because we were short staffed and I had loads to do and then before I knew it it was 5 o'clock!
Had a pretty good weekend. Friday was out in the Crown with the girls, wont go into too much detail but apparently I'm a nice wee fag and Benjie would really like to smoke me! Oh and Lynsey won quip of the night, I was in stitches. It is most definitely our new chat up line.
On Saturday I went shopping with Ma and got some new underwear, couple of criminally cheap sale tops, the hair straighteners of my dreams and some luverly new shampoo. Elvive Nutri-Gloss, any of you long haired lasses I highly recommend it. Was going to buy the new Jung Chang book but have decided to wait for it to come out in paperback. Wee bitty pricey.
Saturday night there was a bit of confusion as to what was happening which culminated in me getting incredibly annoyed but all is well now. Matt and I met in the Black Bull and had great fun posing with some of his mates to some cracking tunes. Mmmmmm Iron Maiden.
Then we got put on the Citrus guest list so headed up there for a little while and met Willie who it turns out lives about 20ft down the road from Matt, small world. Ended the night in the Egg but didn't really enjoy myself for various reasons but it all got sorted out thankfully.
Sunday Had a nice long-ish lie and then headed up into town to go see Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Decided to go for something to eat first and picked "The Slug and Lettuce" in the Omni. Had some seriously yummy nachos with spicy chicken, sour cream, salsa and gwakemoli (spelling?). Massive portion though I was so shocked! Admitted defeat at about three quarters of the way through. Great coffee too.
The film was excellent, so funny and Johnny Depp was too geeky to live. Really glad we went to see it. I want an Ooompa Loompa.
Ended the night with a few drinks in the Southern and then in the Abbey. Got a lot of things sorted and I'm feeling much better just about a lot of stuff in general.
