Well our government voted to begin the process of leaving the EU, which I suppose that we knew they would in spite of all the hopes one might have that there was something that could be done to prevent it. He's awful but I don't think he'll last beyond the point the republicans realise he's going to leave them totally toxic for the next twenty years. Unfortunately he might leave America toxic for a lot longer before that.

At least he's solved the problems of not enough coal slurry in waterways and not enough mentally ill people with assault weapons, so I guess you can sleep safer in your beds.

I think some of the GOP realizes what he's going to do to the Republican party. They've distanced themselves in the last week.

Thank god! I'm so happy he's decided it's okay to contaminate our waterways! I mean, he had to ban all the "bad" people from getting in.... So we will definitely be safer! None of the awful things that have happened in the US since 9/11 have been done by US citizens. ...oh wait...they were.

It's alright though because most of them were white, so they were lone wolves. Endless endless packs of pallid, resentful lone wolves radicalised online by other lone wolves. But definitely not terrorists.

Yeah. I thought the sight of Theresa May holding hands with Trump was going to be the low point of the year - the words "appalling", "abject" and "no moral compass" coming immediately to mind. But now we've decided to accelerate our descent into economic chaos as well.
