Friday Night Lights S2-E1

Sep 20, 2007 02:08

The full first episode is up at tv.yahoo.com, and I couldn't help it. I had to watch it. Clearly, a lot of other people felt the same way, because the stream got really clogged for a while there, but I finally saw the whole thing. My reactions behind the cut.

BIG HONKIN' FNL SPOILERS )

Not looking, not looking, not looking, but could you indulge me and my spoiler-phobia and reply with whether you liked it or not? ::bites nails::

I am not reading this post, because I have Netflixed season one. But. When does Season 2 start? I want to set my DVR. :)

Friday, October 5, 9 p.m. on NBC. One day after the Supernatural premiere. :)

Oh, it's so good! Give yourself a weekend to devour the first season. Also, definitely get into disc 2 before you decide for sure. It starts good, but it just gets better and better and better. :)

I probably added to your streaming problems - I watched it after you told me it was available.

And yes, a Big Fat WTF! with the Tyra/Landry thing - I loved everything about them leading up to the end - totally out of character for them and the show.

On the other hand - Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton - just amazing! The Emmy voters should be subjected to two-a-days and maybe a few bleacher runs!

No, I'm glad you watched it! I have someone to say OMGWTF with!?!?! The episode overall was the kind of perfection we've come to expect. And just the right slivers of everyone. And Tami's reaction, where she never even says a word--just, amazing. And Eric's making Julie tell him what's going on. *sigh* I missed them sososo much!

But the real consequences of Tyra and Landry's situation would have been just as dramatic by FNL standards. I smell network interference, and I don't like it one bit. It just reeks of "well, nothing ever HAPPENS! Make something HAPPEN!" Grrrr.
