Apparently, the renewal of Friday Night Lights isn't a totally done deal...yet.

From Michael Ausiello at TV Guide, it hasn't been finalized yet. Also, he has some details on how they'll air the episodes, when the deal does go through.

I don't know how this would work, but I hope it's not an exclusive DirecTv thing. I don't watch FNL (although, I've heard such good things about it, I should!), but I know on my DirecTv, they play the soap, Passions, exclusively on their 101 channel, it's not on NBC anymore. I'll keep my fingers crossed it's not going to be like that for you!
