I just got a survey request from the AC Nielsen company, that I figured I'd take as a little break from watching my governor implode and typing boring legal documents. A few questions in, it got really interesting. Unfortunately, it wouldn't let me go back to copy the earlier questions to share with y'all, once I figured out what they were actually

It is a ridiculous double standard, especially compared with what's allowed in Europe, for example.

I think they got my name from Hey!Nielsen, which is made up of pretty web-savvy and media-literate folks, so I hope they get a fair number of people showing support for the storyline. We shall see, I guess.

That was an extremely good response, and hit all the major plot points of the "sex on tv" deal. I don't watch ATWT either, but I think it's silly of the network to introduce a gay storyline, have them kiss, and then pretend like they're treating that relationship the same way they'd do any other. Instead of addressing the question via the media because of fan outrage, they should address it through a storyline. Because that would *make sense*.
