Found out today that the Chef had no involvement in the firing (read "letting go") process. Recently, I've been reading a book called, "Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed" by Jared Diamond. I'll skip the part where this guy has spent the past 50 years in a collegiate setting, gaining doctorates in various and sundry fields and get to the point.
