The Scots have a much saner approach to international football than the English, generally when Scots fans follow the team abroad, it's with the expectation that they'll lose, but everyone will have a good holiday out of it and get to see some good football, even if it is mainly from the opposition.
And then there are the times when we've lost massively to no-hopers no-one's ever heard of, but once the business of guarenteeing being out if done, we then go on to utterly massacre one of the world's best teams, like we did to Holland in the 1978 world cup.
Too many English fans seem to take the whole thing seriously, which is the main problem. :-)
