"Get them!"

First of all...how hot is this icon!? A short haired Callisto clasping a sword. *_* If you're unfamiliar with Xena, Callisto is the shows equivalent to Faith from Buffy. Sexy, psychotic and so completely slashable with Xena...I need season three...now. >.>

Bad news concerning the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie, I'm afraid. >_< And ( Read more... )

You know what? I'm more okay with the Cho thing now. O.o That is, IF they handle it a certain way. If it's because of pressure from family or something (like it likely was with Marietta, we never get a real explanation with that, do we?), I'll be okay with it. Just because she defended Marietta, so it seems a little more forgivable to have Cho out them, as it is.

But if they make it a 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' I just might have to kill a bitch. >< 'Cause I still like her, even if I understand all the Cho-hate. (Just, you know, the more a reader identifies with Harry the more they'll dislike Cho along with him, I think.) I really hope they don't make her out to be mean and vindictive, because like you said, I think it's mostly jealousy (and holy crap, defensiveness! Imagine being the one to bring the betrayer into the club!) that makes her defend Marietta ( ... )

You are right, we don't know the reasoning behind her betrayal. Maybe Both Marietta and Cho regret it...we don't really dwell on it in the books but I know it will be completely scrapped in the film. *nods*

It could easily be pressure from family...it's just. Look at Cho's facial expression in the trailer. (Pause it if you must.) She is standing next to Umbridge and her Inquisitorial squad with a twisted expression of anger.

(Just, you know, the more a reader identifies with Harry the more they'll dislike Cho along with him, I think.)Yes and as it's from his point of view, that effects our view as well. However, I've been doing this quite a lot lately. When a character in fiction describes something or explains something I sometimes think 'Well you don't actually know that to be true, why should I believe you' More often I find myself drawing my own ( ... )

I think we might have different trailers. O.o I never see Cho in the trailers here ... unless I am just markedly unobservant. :D I'll have to look it up on youtube one of these days - yikes! Only a week! :D

Heh, I like "mainies". ^^ I'm really bad about that, only identifying with, believing, and even liking the 'main' characters! I think this might be my first experience having real love for some secondary characters. :)

*laughs* Glad you liked!

Oh well. I'm sure whatever taste OOTP leaves in my mouth, it shall be gone by July 21st.

Amen, brother! :D

I've seen 2 different trailers, both featured Cho twice.

(1) The Harry/ Cho Kiss. (Which I might add does not look even remotely awkward...Actually looks quite hot. -_-)

(2) She's standing with the Inquisitorial squad, Filch and Umbridge and Umbridge hisses, "Get them!"

The secondary characters are awesome, in fact all of them are, in their own way. The amount of detail and backstory J.K uses for each of them is amazing. This series is incredibly indepth. I would love to raid J.K's house and just immerse myself in her many boxes of notes. >.>

I was at leaky the other day. (I think I prefer it to mugglenet.) I signed up for the newsletter and was looking at the clock countdowns you can post on your blogs and stuff....decided against it.

I would have only used the book count down I think, and all those ones seemed to feature the image of the US cover. So I thought no.
