Seriously people are losing jobs/ finding it increasingly hard to find work, (myself included,) and the morons at Sunrise decided to put a 'positive' spin on it. Fuck Kochie and Mel!

Dude, did you watch Spicks & Specks this week? Janine Garafolo and a comedian from Canada. How fucking awesome was it? And oh my god, I have the hugest fucking crush on her.

I did not know of your love for Janine Garafolo, which, yep, I'm right there with yah. I did watch it, I thought Ian 'Hewey' Hewitson's presence was somewhat painful. Every joke he attempted to pull kind of fell flat. But Hewey is known on his cooking show for laughing at his own 'dad jokes.'

Yeeeah, I noticed. It's hard, because even on Buzzcocks, or QI, when it's something specifically cultural to the area (in S&S's case, Australia, otherwise, GB), I don't always get it. That's why I'm much happier when there's someone I recognize.

Oddly enough, I was just going to see if the new episode was available for download, but I've been on a massive QI marathon. Have you ever watched it? I'm convinced I want Stephen Fry to adopt me, or at least hang out with me and watch old Doctor Who episodes.

But *nods* I'm often thinking when they make a reference to an Australian personality that the joke would be lost on you. But it's a really good show to watch to learn from though. ^_^
