It's very common for the show to just gloss over the Sam's recovery--from anything. Oh, your girlfriend died? Your wrists were slit and you nearly bled to death? YOU died? And he's up walking around next episode like nothing happened.

The only hospital we have ever seen Sam in has been visiting Dean--or in the mental hospital. If the show suddenly delivered, however, a lot of fan fiction writers would be out of business. :)

Oh i know, i totally agree with you there *sigh* But i have hope that the show will hopefully deal with Sam's wall breaking down better then they have with his other problems. (please!) Anyway at least we have awesome fan fic writers around to help explore Sam's recoveries more. Yay! Thanks.
