So. Hurdles and everything are over. And I got redirected. Mostly because I didn't pass my acting hurdle. At least for next semester, I am a B.A. Theatre major, Dance minor... I did not get accepted into the music school, but I'm not going to stop trying. I take it not as "No" but as "Not Yet." My dad had to apply to medical school 7 times before he was accepted, and he was nearly valedictorian of his med-school class.
If you do want to transfer, IU has a new musical theatre BFA program, and the theatre program here is excellent (not to mention the opportunities for taking private voice are outstanding).
