Recently a family friend died...more specifically my mother's kinda boyfriend for 15 years. They would have a date every saturday night and it was always assumed to have cocktails at 4:30 and then eat dinner out on the town. So I'm writing a tribute because he really deserves one ( Read more... )

I am so sorry bud. He seems to have had quite the impact on you and your family. Just think of the happy times and what a wonderful person he was. Losing someone you care about really makes you think about what is important in life.

Thanks hun...as I was writing all the things I'll miss so many great memories came back that I had forgotten...amazing what we forget so quickly.

Yeah, well the important thing is that you do remember. It will be the little things that remind of you him too, I'm sure. That's how you know that people who leave us are still watching out for us. :o)
