So, I've heard that things such as plates, glasses, cleaning supplies, spices, canned goods and other food goes into cupboards in the kitchen, but I may have heard wrong.

So how does it feel to be starting your real life? (P.S. I'm so jealous!!)

Hm.. Your proposals are very interesting. I might have to consider that at some point. However, with my current stock of goods which consists of:

(1) can of peanut butter
(1) loaf of bread
(1) jar of jam
(5) assorted frozen dinners
(4) plates and bowls

I still have a ways to go before I figure out the purpose of the cupboards :). It feels good to know I'm not moving out of here in the next few months again though. On the flip side, I'm poorer now then I was as a student, so that's fun.

Upon closer consideration of your pictures I have a few more comments. Is that your IBM flashlight on your dresser? Also, congrats on the dishwasher!! I wish I had one!

Yup, that is the IBM flashlight. My grandparents had a merry time trying to turn it off before I gave them the secret :). I love my dishwasher so far, in fact I think I'm taking the relationship a bit too fast. Might have to slow things down there.
