After moping alone in her room in Rivendell for what felt like hours, Diamond sat on the edge of the hobbit-sized bed and thought, Gracious! Just when do these elves eat dinner, anyway?

After taking his time washing off the dust of the road, Iolaus poked and peered into every nook and cranny of the lavish bedchamber. Twice. When his stomach began to rumble he decided that maybe it was time to do a bit of exploring outside of the confines of his room. Surely this Hall their hosts had mentioned couldn't be too far away -- could it? He opened the massive door and poked his head out, peering down the corridor. There was no one in sight. Had they been forgotten? Somehow he didn't think so. Still, he wasn't exactly known for his patience and, frankly, he was getting pretty hungry.

Iolaus walked over to a neighboring door and gently knocked. "Diamond?"

*composes herself and answers the door*

Oh, hello, Iolaus! Please come in. *steps back from the door to allow him in.*

I thought it might be Glorfindel_tm come to take us to dinner. Have you been out to explore Rivendell at all? I think I needed a bit of time to myself, but now...

*whispers* I'm fairly starving! *looks sheepish*

*Loki appears behind Iolaus, fairly grinning.* I like this place. It needs a bit more action, however. On the upside, I found the Hall of Fire.

*searches out the little hobbit lady with a tray full of roasted flesh. The color of the pices are a rather sure sign that they come from different animals.
Mashed patatoes and some wild berries swim in a red wine sauce. He places the tablet on a near table*

My little lady!
*he bows*

My experience with your kin have shown me, that you must be hungry.
I have personally fixed this plate for you!
I plan to become a great chef to this lands, so pleast eat and tell me what you think about this food.

*he gestures for her to sit down and eat*

Loki gets a rather interesting expression on his face when Elladan enters. He also has to speculate upon whether the meat is Orcish or not.

"Oh, I do," as he flashes a charming smile.

Loki's features morph into a figure of whomever Elladan would find most attractive and he (or she ;) ) sidles up to the elf, murmuring in his ear, "I would greatly appreciate it if you might just...whip out your sword," and punctuates that with a kiss just below his earlobe.
