 Sunday morning we got a call from Tina's brother letter her know that her mother was very sick. So we booked flights and are suddenly in NZ. Which was a surprise and kinda expensive. Good news is that the mother in law is doing a bit better but it's still not great, unlikely to see a whole lot of change either way until after we have to leave

Sorry I missed you while you were in Christchurch - quite understand the limited time thing, though. Many hugs and good thoughts for the both of you.

As an aside, I visited a tech company in Silicon Valley where people can bring their dogs to work. Was definitely interesting walking down the corridor past a bunch of offices and having a greyhound wander past in the other direction :-)
