Heh, I had a three-day week; off Tuesday and today. My boss was not happy but I can't help it if public transport isn't running.

Getting a bit fed up of trudging to the train station and back on the ice now though.

Public transport ground to a halt here (Bristol) at the sight of the first flake and hasn't risked it since!

Ha! I'm in the North West and trains have been breaking down left, right, and centre. The switches to change junctions have frozen. There's been all sorts going wrong.

I stumbled that pic, and I think it is simply brilliant. And slightly incredible. Wish I could be there. I miss the UK.

It is incredible. I think what I respond to the most, though, is being struck all over again at how tiny this island is!
