The weird thing for be about Prop A - beyond the points that you make - is simply this:
Who is paying for the advertising for it? I've seen whats out there. There is really good Print, Radio, TV and Web advertising all over the place for it. That doesn't come cheap...
...So who is footing the bill, and why would they pay so much to try to get it to pass?
I know. That sounds like I need to get out my Tinfoil Hat... but that is where my mind goes sometimes. :)
however small an influence that is, it's pretty much all I've got, given that I can't afford to buy a lobbyist
The difference between the Libertarians getting 4% vs. 5% of the vote is recognition as a Major Party in Kansas. Had we been able to muster up 5%, we'd've gained that status here. Hopefully next time...
