Even if they did pass a complete and utter appeal of health care, Obama would veto it. And as good a year as they will have, they are not getting an override majority.

I almost included that, and I agree.

There could be some good tactical reasons for the GOP to try to repeal it and force Obama to veto - but I really think if they did that it would backfire badly on them.

I agree. As soon as some of the bits of the new health care kick in and then are threatened with repeal, folks will be a touch upset.
