I know stuff can be replaced but how can your home and not just the building but, the memories, pictures, hierlooms, and momentos that make the structure your home be replaced. Goddess help them. I just couldn't imagine.

Agreed. I cannot possibly imagine losing everything. The favorite hoody to fall asleep in, the picture from your childhood, the tickle me elmo, etc. The little things in life are what honestly matter the most.
Makes things in my life seem so trivial in comparison.

Yeah I know what you mean. At least our walls are still standing.

I think the more time that goes by, the more I realize how little the physical momentos mean to me. Its not to say I don't have an attachment to them, but the intangible things are the ones I miss. Hearing my grandmother's voice, petting my dog, things like that.

Its little comfort to someone who has just lost everything, I'm sure having back the pictures of their family would give them some solace in the hell they are suffering now. THey are alive, though. Gotta start with that and move on.

I'm sure each of us will pray in our own way for them.

I admire the people who can. I know if it as me I would just break down.

Everyday I see or wear something that reminds me of a great moment in my life. To suddenly loose them is a terrifing thought but in the end its just stuff. I've burned the images and memories in my head so I will never loose those moments that bring a smile to face everyday. There's always room to make new moments to enjoy.... just have to attach the old memories to the new ones...
