There was a time that I could speak more coherently and had much better short-term memory. Then, Lamictal came along. One of the less common side effects is concentration problems and memory loss. Yippie! I have been on this stuff for (at least) a couple of years now, but it was not until I was bumped up to 300 mg a day that I started noticing

Yeah, I would definitely wait until your stress level goes down before you change your prescription. Have you talked to your doctor about your concerns?
