Ok, so I just checked my work email (since I wasn't in my classroom at all today to check it there), and I received a letter from one of the 8th graders I had this past year. Oh, you will LOVE it. It's not an easy job, not at all. There is endless paperwork to do, parental issues to deal with, and discipline problems left and right. BUT all those things take a backseat to the thrill of teaching your students something they should know. When I'm teaching, I don't feel like I'm working, because I enjoy it so much. It isn't easy, like I said, but it doesn't feel like WORK. It's so great!!
