Dan Brown will never not be funny. Stupid man with his bragging rights about papal tours around the Vatican (possibly it was Pope Kyu, that would explain a lot) and he *still* manages to get it wrong in so many ways.
I like the thought that this one is more intimate. It was time to take them away from the big stage and see how they function off-screen, as it were. Changmin overseas is a different beast to Changmin in Korea; Yunho is the one who changes least, probably because he's always known who he is and Changmin changled himself in duty and familial expectation. But it takes us until Sunflowers to see that happy-go-lucky Yunho does have emotional needs, too, and they're no less deep than Changmin's; he just deals with it differently ( ... )

HOLY CRAP I HATE YOU I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO VISIT ROME AGAIN WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT HOMIN AND HOW TRAGIC IT IS THEY'VE NEVER ACTUALLY BEEN THERE.
Joking, I don't actually hate you. But I cry over HoMin not coming to Italy often enough, and now I have one more reason to. *SADNESS*
God, this was really perfect. Koreans are usually pretty crazy about Italy (actually, almost everyone is - hey, we're awesome people when we're not busy screwing up our own country!) and to actually hear them try to talk in Italian would kill me. KILL ME DEAD. Dead with cute because Yunho would be absolutely adorably awkward, and dead with sexy because Changmin + Italian is... GAH. Although the mere idea of Changmin speaking the milanese dialect is enough to make me roll off my bed laughing, it'd be freaking hilarious!
Btw, there are few mistakes here and there with the Italian speeches (I'm guessing Google Translate hits again?). If you want to I'd be happy to fix it up a bit, just PM me the original english text.

Yes, there are mistakes on purpose since Changmin isn't fluent and his mind is on... other things ;) I used an old Italian phrasebook and deliberately mangled some of the words so they'd read in a nonsensical way. But thank you for the offer, I appreciate it (Changmin would take you up on it, I'm sure XD).

No problem, thank you for the advice! How languages work is very interesting. Hmm since I got the phrases from a phrasebook then I wonder why it was so formal rather than a more colloquial form. Maybe because the book was very old!
I'll make sure to change 'verra' to 'vieni' at least, when I can get online properly. Thank you again!
