There are different price ranges for the seats - I couldn't afford the most expensive ones, but I think the ones we got are pretty good for that band. They're not so close to the front, but as long as we can see everyone, I don't care. \o/
I knooow, there's so much to catch up on. And good luck with your exams bb!
That's me as I go around the office this morning, babbling to everyone who might listen about Prop. 8 being overturned (even though no one here knows about it).
And omg! The tickets are out? I checked on Sunday and they weren't out yet! *panics*
I want to come, but it will be my first Grand Prix and I still haven't found anyone to come with me, and I don't know how it all works!!
Ahah, I know the feeling! I told my family and they were all 'why do you care about something that's not even happening in this country?' MISSING THE POINT.
They came out the other day! You can get them here. The only problem is, it doesn't make it clear what's on at what time, so I'm using last years as a guide. From what I can gather, I think Friday is the short programmes, Saturday afternoon is mens and pairs FS and Saturday evening is ladies and ice dance, and then Sunday the gala - at least, that was the order for last year. There are different prices for the seats, too.
You should definitely come! I'm sure there will be meet-ups and stuff - I'm dragging along the best friend, but we can only afford to go on the Saturday. :(
Heh! My family/friends have given up on me going to other countries for fannish reasons. ;) And it's not my fault there is no Grand Prix in Italy *pouts

Ahhh, thank you for that! I'm relieved that my guesses were right, I was terrified I'd bought the wrong tickets and was going to be sitting through eight hours of pairs skating, or something.
I have no idea about the practise thing. I know for other competitions you could buy like a whole weekend ticket that allowed you to watch the whole thing, but I can't find anything like that - it all seems to be just individual tickets. It really isn't cheap, especially for the good seats, and that's not taking into account flights or anything. But birthday present works!
