Well that's it. The end of my vacation and back to reality. I start work tomorrow, and I'm nervous about that. I just hope that who I work with will be someone patient and good at explaining things. Well, my sister has graduated and her party is over. That's part of what's happened since I last wrote. My sister's graduation was thursday and her party that we had for her was friday (of course their all-night party was thursday night after graduation, and they went to the same places my class went to when I graduated). In other words, I have arrived. I accomplished so much to do it's unreal. First of all I went into work and filled out paperwork, then found out I don't work till the 19th (cuz I'm on vacation the 11-18 and my sister's graduation is the 8th and I told him that those days had to be days off). So, not much to update about really. I'm just sitting here bored on a Friday night. Anyways, I guess we're putting a new lining in the pool so it's drained. Plus the pool cleaner will have to be replaced I'm sure because parts of the lining were definitely not being cleaned. Ok, so I decided to work at Bales. It's closer to my house and it will probably involve more hours. Plus the pay starts out at $7.60 an hour...so that's above minimum wage which is good. I'll be a courtesy clerk, bagging groceries, assisting customers out to their car, making sure things are facing out right on the shelves and tasks like that. ( Read more... )
