I feel as though all my dots in leadership have been respent into other catagories. LAME. I'm tired and I'm dirty and I don't feel like I'm accompishing everything I should. And the library here smells like historic preservation (read: bad).

Today Orli and I woke up early and embarked on high adventure to the PIRATE FESTIVAL. We were, perhaps, ineffectual pirates. However, I prefer to think that we were simply true to our inner natures. The culmination of our Pirate v. Ninja party, for me, was having to strip down in a cemetery because I was covered in ants. And yet? Still the most awesome party EVER.

The sun is coming out now because it can feel that the day (work-wise) is nearly done. I've made it through! For a few hours there I thought that I might not. I'm not sure why it was so difficult to focus. But at least I have most of a plot done. probably some reworking to be done, but that's okay. It's on paper...er.. computer ( Read more... )

Pick it up, it's amazing.

Apparently, last night as Josh was walking home from rehearsal he got to the parking lot kinna behind our house when a raccoon who had been chilling on the picnic tables veers off and /CHARGES HIM DOWN/. Josh kicked it and ran all the way home. Where he recounted the story to us and I am /still/ laughing.

I've been hit by wanderlust so hard today I can scarcely think. It's only 3:12 and I wish I had my ipod. cd player. tape deck. SOMETHING. blah.

There are so many people younger than me who have been to far more places than I. I need to fix this.

The kids are fairly cute and the CYT Musical thingie went well. Morrie seemed to like what I did and I got compliments on my lighting, which was nice. I think there are some things that I might have done differently if I were to do it over again. But that's always the case, isn't it ( Read more... )
